Warm autumn colors for this antique outfit, pairing a take (bamboo) ground kimono with falling tsuta (ivy), with a black satin obi showing a plump shimarisu (tamia/chipmunk) in grapevine

Japan. Tea 2
Japan has always amazed me with its beauty and uniqueness. I don't know if the tea ceremony was organized correctly. But what difference does it make? Together with Anderii @anderii everything is always wonderful

Do you think writing whilst wearing this silk dressing gown would make you more creative? I would love to find out. Woman's "kimono" style dressing gown is Japanese, created for the Western market, c.1900. The retailer was based in Kyoto. The pale cherry blossom pink gown is a silk plain weave (taffeta) embroidered with polychrome silk and a tasseled trim sash. From the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. @MFABoston

After the heat of the day, it was lovely to feel the cooling breeze of evening as they came out onto the balcony of their Venice hotel in the silk kimonos they'd been given by their Japanese client in Tokyo. Lesbian escorts get to travel to some wonderful places.

本日も着物。6月ですが雨で陽光もないので、家だし大伯母の茶箱の羽織でも着てみようかと。
I'm wearing kimono also today. And I try to wear one of "haori" in the tealeaves storage of my grandant, because it's raining and a little bit cold today.

いやぁ柄on柄なのに、合うのが不思議な大正風。。。
This is a long type of haori having a knee length. I had swen some points as sewing yarns were too old and broken. This may be close to the Taisho Modern style (the early of 20th).
